Car Clubs

Pontiac has become one of the state’s most popular Car Club cruise destinations. Car Clubs, both large and small, will enjoy a day in Pontiac. Not only do we have 4 great museums, two of them are particularly automobile and transportation related! The Illinois Route 66 Museum is our most popular attraction, and the Pontiac-Oakland Automobile Museum (P.O.A.M) is the nation’s only museum dedicated to just those two famous car maker brands. Special options for Car Clubs may include reserved on-street parking to display your cars, behind the scenes tours of the complete P.O.A.M. collection, and group visits to private car collections in the area.
