Love, Loss, and What I Wore was written by Nora and Delia Ephron, based on the 1995 book by Ilene Beckerman. This play is structured as a series of monologues and ensemble pieces, with a cast of actresses sharing stories that range from the comedic to the deeply emotional. These vignettes explore topics such as mother-daughter relationships, romantic entanglements, heartbreak, aging, and the memories tied to specific outfits or fashion choices. Each story celebrates the shared experiences of women while highlighting their individuality, making it a heartfelt exploration of the universal connections between memory, self-expression, and what we wear.
