Hometown Holiday Celebration & Light Parade

Join us as we kick off our Hometown Holiday season with our Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony which includes a performance by the Madrigal Singers, announcement of the WinterFest 2024 Tree Sponsors, and introduction of the LACC Welding Sculpture and instructor. The ceremony begins at 5:30 pm on Washington Street, south of the historic Livingston County Courthouse. To follow is the annual Light Parade, with this year’s theme “We’ll See You at the Movies- Holiday Style.” The Grand Marshall will lead things off at 5:30 pm from the 1st Lutheran Church parking lot and continue to Washington Street where each float will be announced before they make their way down Main to Madison Street, ending at the County Market Parking Lot.
