[ARCHIVED] Pontiac Community Art Center announces the April Gallery Show ‘Discover Autism’.

The April 2018 Gallery Show at the Pontiac Community Art Center opens on Saturday, April 7 in the Joe Bailey Gallery, and will run through the month of April. ‘Discover Autism’ will feature the works of five artists from Merchant Street Art Gallery of Artists with Autism showing their work in painting, photography, clay and paper sculptures. The Opening Reception will be held at the Pontiac Community Art Center on Saturday, April 7 from 4:30 - 6:30pm. Each artist will take a few minutes to talk about his or her work. The artists ages range from 10 to 25 years old. Merchant Street is one of only three galleries exclusively for artists with Autism in the U.S. Janice Miller is the Executive Director of the gallery and Nancy Flessner the Executive Board President.

The Pontiac Community Art Center and Gallery is now located at 209 West Madison St., Pontiac. (about one block West of our old location) Hours for the Art Center are Monday through Thursday, 10 am to 5 pm, Friday 10am to 8pm, Saturday 10 am to 4 pm, and Sunday 12pm to 4pm. There is no admission fee and the public is welcome.
