Three of the four museums in Pontiac will be switching over to their reduced winter hours on November 1st.  At the same time, several of the exhibits located within the Pontiac Museum Complex will close completely for the season.  The Route 66 Museum, the Pontiac-Oakland Automobile Museum, and the Museum of the Gilding Arts will all open daily at 10 AM from November 1st through the end of March of 2018.  Those same museums will close at 4 PM.  All of Pontiac's museum will close for Thanksgiving Day (November 23), Christmas Day (December 25), and New Year's Day (January 1, 2018).  The Livingston County War Museum will maintain its regular hours: Monday - Saturday: 10 AM to 4 PM, and Sunday, Noon - 4 PM.
