The family-friendly, free Route 66 Kite festival will take place from 11 am to 3 pm at the Pontiac Recreation Complex (Rec-Plex) located on Old Airport Road.  There will be giant kites, graceful kite ballets, and lots of excitement.  To locate the Rec-Plex using GPS, use this address:  2104 S.
