[ARCHIVED] June 2017 Pontiac Community Art Center Gallery Art Show: ‘Ode to III…’

The June 2017 Show at the Pontiac Community Art Center opens on Saturday, June 3 in the Joe Bailey Gallery.  This exhibit is entitled ‘Ode to III…’

‘Ode to III…’ is a collaboration between the Pontiac Community Art Center and the Pontiac Chapter of the Illinois State Poetry Society. This show between the two local creative groups will be on display at the Art Center from June 3 to June 29 during regular Art Center hours.

The June 3 opening reception will be from 5 pm to 8 pm and will include short poetry readings on the half hour. There will also be readings from 2 pm to 3 pm at the center on Saturday, June 10.

The Art Center is located at 103 West Madison St. across from the historic Courthouse in Pontiac. Hours for the Art Center are Monday through Friday, 10 am to 5 pm, Saturday 10 am to 4 pm, and Sunday 9:30 am to 4 pm.

There is no admission fee and the public is welcome.
