[ARCHIVED] Pontiac Community Art Center Celebrates 5 Years with Show and Art Walk

November Gallery Show at Pontiac Community Art Center is entitled “5 by 5.” In honor of the five year anniversary of the Center, artists will create art that relates to the number 5, either in size or theme. The show opens November 5th.

November 5, 2016: Artwalk (celebrating the history of art in Pontiac) In celebration of its five year anniversary, the Pontiac Community Art Center is hosting an art walk on Saturday, November 5th. The walk will combine some Pontiac history with area artists: past and present. There will be art on exhibit at 5 locations in Pontiac: The Jones House, The Catherine V. Yost Museum, the Eagle Performing Arts and Conference Center, The Museum of the Gilding Arts, and the Pontiac Community Art Center. Hosts will be at each location to discuss history of the location and talk about paintings on display. Two options for ticketholders are: 1) Take the trolley from site to site and hear a little about each location and the art at that location for $10, or 2) Take a self-paced tour, visiting each of the 5 sites at your leisure for $5.
