  1. February Gallery Show

    February 8, 2020, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Pontiac Community Art Center

The February 2020 Gallery Show at the PCAC will be in the Joe Bailey Gallery Feb 1-Feb 27. The show is called ‘Reflections of Hope’ and features the work of artist Christine Bennett-Weber. "Life and renewal continue to influence the art I create, whether through the subject matter or media. Gently handling emotion and translating that via clay, pastel, watercolor. Quietly honoring both the beauty and comfort we find in our living surroundings through a glazed piece thrown on a potter's wheel, felted painting or creature. As a massage therapist, I felt a calling to provide comfort and healing to patients with serious illness at some of the most vulnerable points in their lives. As an artist, my hands continue to be the tool that allows me to share my reflections, this month focused on hope and peace restored." There will be an opening reception on February 8 from 5-7pm. Hours for the PCAC are Mon-Fri 10-5, Sat 10-4, and Sun 12-4. There is no admission fee and the public is welcome.
